Entekra are proud to announce the partnership with Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board (CMETB) to deliver an exciting new Architectural Technology and Computer Aided Design Traineeship.
What is a Career Traineeship?
A Career Traineeship is an occupational skills development training programme that is tailored to the identified needs of a specific industry sector or sub-sector and leads to nationally recognised qualifications.
About This Traineeship
This unique Traineeship has been tailored to meet the specific needs required within this company. The course provides a variety of modules which relate to the design/drawing/CAD/IT skills. These modules include;
- Computer Aided Drafting
- Design Skills
- Work Experience
- Materials Science
- Spreadsheets Methods
- Parametric CAD
- Architectural Drawing
The course comprises of 70% Academic learning which will take place at Monaghan Institute and 30% work based learning within the Entekra’s European Headquarters in Monaghan. The total duration of the programme is 38 weeks / One academic year, full-time, commencing in Sept 2018.
Following successful completion of this Traineeship the student will gain a QQI Level 5 Architectural Technology and Computer Aided Design certification and will have obtained the skills required to apply for a full time position within Entekra.
There are no fees for this course.
If you are on a Department Employment and Employment Affairs and Social Protection (DEASP) payment you may be able to continue to receive your payments, you should check with your DEASP Officer. You may be entitled to travel or accommodation allowance, a meal allowance and access to the CETS Childcare Scheme.
For those not in receipt of a DEASP payment you may be entitled to a company bursary. This is at the discretion of the employer and is subject to satisfactory conduct and attendance.
